...NO SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AREAS FORECAST...

...SUMMARY...
Organized severe thunderstorms are not forecast through early Monday
morning across the Lower 48 states.

...Synopsis...
A mature deep-layer cyclone over the north-central states will
develop northeastward into the Upper Midwest by early Monday. A
cold front will push eastward across the western part of the
Cornbelt and to the western Great Lakes states while the trailing
portion of the boundary stalls over TX. A low-topped convective
band will continue to progress east-northeastward across IA and MO
but a stable layer near the surface will likely inhibit momentum
transfer of strong gusts to the surface during the evening. Farther
south, as the upper system continues to become increasingly
displaced from the Ozarks southward into north-central TX, a
lessening in forcing for ascent and weak buoyancy will act to limit
storm intensity but maintain an overall organized convective
structure, prior to weakening further later this evening into the
overnight.
