Flash Flood Warning Extended For Parts Of Dekalb County

     The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for…
     Big Wills Creek in southeastern DeKalb County in northeastern
     Alabama…

* Until 145 AM CST

* At 1029 PM CST, emergency management officials and NWS trained
     storm spotters reported significant flooding throughout the Big
     Wills Creek basin. Between 4 and 5 inches of rain have already
     fallen, and flash flooding is already occurring. The combination
     of additional rainfall and runoff will result in flash flooding
     continuing into early Monday morning.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
     Fort Payne, Rainsville, Little River Canyon National Preserve,
     Henagar, Collinsville, Crossville, Sylvania, Little River Falls,
     Valley Head and Hammondville.
