Isolated to scattered thunderstorms may develop on Wednesday across parts of southern and eastern Texas eastward into the lower Mississippi Valley. No severe thunderstorms are expected. An upper-level low is forecast to move slowly eastward across the southern high Plains on Wednesday as a slow moving cold front stalls near the coast of Texas extending northeastward into the lower Mississippi Valley. A few thunderstorms may develop along the front during the afternoon with additional thunderstorms possible in the post-frontal airmass from south central into east Texas.
