URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Tornado Watch Number 12 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 900 AM EST Sat Jan 21 2017 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Tornado Watch for portions of The central Florida Panhandle Central and southwest Georgia * Effective this Saturday morning and afternoon from 900 AM until 300 PM EST. * Primary threats include... A couple tornadoes possible Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible SUMMARY...An organized cluster of storms will continue eastward from Alabama and the Florida Panhandle into Georgia through this afternoon. Isolated tornadoes and damaging winds will be possible with embedded supercells and bowing segments. The tornado watch area is approximately along and 95 statute miles north and south of a line from 55 miles south southwest of Columbus GA to 50 miles southeast of Macon GA.
