over a portion of the central California including the Sierra Nevada
range.

A small, but concentrated area of thunderstorms persists, primarily
within plume of subtropical moisture and within strong upslope
regime over the central Sierra Nevada range. Instability is very
limited, and activity is not expected to continue beyond 03Z.
