A strong thunderstorm is moving through the southern parts of Jefferson County and will be approaching Hoover and Vestavia Hills shortly. It is currently located over Bessemer and is moving east at 50 MPH. Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.
