Severe Thunderstorm Warning Continues For Parts Of Walker And Winston Counties Until 3:00PM

…A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 300 PM CST FOR NORTHERN WALKER AND SOUTHEASTERN WINSTON COUNTIES… At 225 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located over Nauvoo, or near Carbon Hill, moving east at 40 mph.

     HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
     SOURCE…Radar indicated.
     IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include… Jasper, Carbon Hill, Arley, Nauvoo, Curry, Camp McDowell, Smith Dam, Ashbank, Smith Lake, Poplar Springs, Falls City, Maple Branch, Little Dismal Creek, Coon Creek, Lupton, Battle Branch, Hidden Cove Campground, Wilson Bend, Devils Branch and Seymour Branch.
