The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Central Montgomery County in south central Alabama…

* Until 1045 AM CDT

* At 1016 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Snowdoun, or
7 miles south of Montgomery, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

Montgomery, Pike Road, Hyundai Motors Of Alabama, Alabama State
University, Auburn University In Montgomery, Hope Hull, Woodcrest,
Dannelly Field, Mount Meigs, Snowdoun, Pinedale, Waugh, Pintlala,
Mitylene, Carters Hill, Barachias, Brassell and Cecil.
