URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Tornado Watch Number 182 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 1035 AM CDT Sun Apr 30 2017 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Tornado Watch for portions of Western Alabama Northern Mississippi * Effective this Sunday morning and evening from 1035 AM until 700 PM CDT. * Primary threats include... A few tornadoes possible Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible SUMMARY...An extensive line of storms will progress east from Mississippi into Alabama through this afternoon. Damaging winds and a few tornadoes will be possible. The tornado watch area is approximately along and 75 statute miles east and west of a line from 30 miles west northwest of Muscle Shoals AL to 65 miles southwest of Selma AL.
