Areal Flood Warning Issued For Parts Of Bullock And Macon Counties Until 9:30PM

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Flood Warning for Small Streams in…
    North central Bullock County in southeastern Alabama…
    Central Macon County in southeastern Alabama…

* Until 930 PM CDT

* At 625 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain which will cause flooding. Over two inches of rain has already fallen across portions of the warned area, and additional rainfall is expected into the evening hours.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
    Tuskegee, Union Springs, Notasulga, Liverpool, Tuskegee National
    Forest, Davisville, Lake Tuskegee, Sedgefield, I 85 Rest Area, Uphapee Creek, Moton Field Municipal Airport and Fort Davis.
