...Thunderstorms with Gusty Winds Moving into Central Iowa... At 457 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 11 miles north of Eagle Grove to 9 miles east of Jefferson to near Avoca. Movement was southeast at 35 mph. Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms. Wind gusts may occur ahead of the thunderstorms arrival.
