...SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT... At 729 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles northeast of Oskaloosa to 6 miles southwest of Melcher-Dallas. Movement was southeast at 30 mph. Winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with these storms. Pella and Knoxville Airports recorded 36 mph wind gusts around 7:15pm.
