Tour of Britain 2017 weather forecast

Britain's answer to the Tour de France will stretch the length of the country this September, as the Tour of Britain gets underway between the 3-10 September.

On Sunday 3 September, some of the world's leading cyclists will gather on Edinburgh's Royal Mile to embark on a gruelling eight day tour that will take them the length and breadth of Britain.

The 20 teams will cover a distance of 1312 km across the UK to then finally reach Cardiff on the eighth and final stage of The Tour on Sunday 10 September.

The weather will play a major role as the competitors cross the UK, keep an eye on the forecast for each of the stages if you are going to cheer on the riders.
