...AIR QUALITY ALERT IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM PDT THIS AFTERNOON... The North Coast Air Quality Management District has issued an Air Quality Advisory for very unhealthy conditions for the coastal areas of in Humboldt and Del Norte counties. This includes areas from Scotia to Eureka and north to Crescent City. The poor air quality is due to wildfire smoke from nearby wildfires
