The Cardiff University Cardiff Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 1 October.
The predominately flat route will take runners past the capital's most iconic landmarks over 13.1 miles.
The course begins outside Cardiff Castle and takes tens of thousands of runners past Cardiff City Stadium, through Penarth and towards Cardiff Bay. The course then heads to the north of Cardiff with a loop of Roath Park Lake before finishing at the Civic Centre in the heart of the city.
Runners will be looking for cool, dry conditions with a light breeze to make for the best conditions to complete the Cardiff Half Marathon.
Whether you are running the 13.1 miles or lining the streets through Cardiff, check the weather forecast below to prepare for the event.
