THE SOUTHERN HIGH PLAINS...

Isolated severe storms remain possible over the southern High Plains
with a wind or hail threat.

...Southern High Plains...
Scattered thunderstorms persist this evening, most notably just east
of the Lubbock TX area. Other smaller cells were ongoing across far
southeastern CO, and over parts of eastern NM. While areas of
outflow are having a stabilizing effect, pockets of instability
remain, and a southerly low-level jet will maintain the possibility
of sporadic cells capable of mainly wind and hail as an upper trough
continues eastward over the region. For more information see
