...Heavy Rain for Baranof Island Today... Heavy rainfall with upwards of half an inch per hour rainfall rates have been observed at Sitka for most of Monday morning. Periods of heavy rain are expected through at least mid afternoon before the bands of heavier rain shift westward. A total of 2 to 4 inches is expected through Monday evening.
