Sunday Mild but increasingly windy with gales developing in the west and then across northern Britain. Western parts of Scotland along with parts of Northern Ireland will see persistent outbreaks of rain throughout the day. Across England and Wales there be some sunshine but also a good deal of cloud and scattered showers. Some parts of central and eastern England along with eastern Scotland will be dry. Highs of 8 to 13 Celsius north to south.
Sunday night This evening and tonight it remains wet with further outbreaks of rain across Northern Ireland and north western parts of Scotland. A number of showers persist across England and Wales this evening before becoming confined to western coasts in the night. A mild and windy night to come underneath the cloud with minimums of 5 to 9 Celsius.
Monday Again it's a mild, unsettled and windy day to come across the United Kingdom. Gales develop with gusts of 70 mph around exposed western coasts and over the Pennines and southern Uplands. An area of moderate to heavy rain sweeps into all but the South Midlands, East Anglia and the south east this morning. The rain clears northern and western Scotland along with Northern Ireland in the afternoon leaving a few showers. Another area of rain sweeps back in across Britain in the evening and the night. Expect top temperatures of 9 to 13 Celsius.
Tuesday Strong gales likely again today with gusts over 70 mph in the west and north. Gusts over 50 mph are possible in the south in the afternoon. Another wet day as well with spells of heavy rain and a risk of flooding. The rain clears the north and the west in the evening and the rest of Britain early in the night leaving a few showers. Very mild with top temperatures of 11 to 15 Celsius.
