Cold with some showers over the Low Countries and Germany as well as northern Poland. Cloudy with some sleet or snow in southern Poland, this extending into Austria and Switzerland. Fair in the UK but chilly. A showery day in Denmark with a mix of sunny spells and snow showers. Further snow showers across the Baltic States and Finland. Sunny spells and mostly dry form Sweden. Snow showers affecting much of Sweden.

Friday A wet day over northern and western parts of Spain and Portugal today. Eastern Spain should be brighter and drier with sunny spells here. Some sunshine in the balearics too. Showers affecting Italy, one or two heavy. Greece should be dry with sunny spells. A few showers in western Turkey but generally dry with further spells of sunshine here. Fair in Spain on Saturday with good spells of sunshine here. Scattered showers for the Low Countries and Germany. Showers too in the baltic States, and snow showers affecting Finland. Dry in Sweden with sunny spells, snow showers affecting all parts of Norway.
