Fair Mediterranean, more unsettled in central Europe and colder to the north Tuesday It remains pleasantly warm, dry and sunny across much of Spain and Portugal. Dry with sunny spells as well across the south of France, across the Balearics into Italy and across much of the Balkans and the Adriatic Region. Cooler but dry across Britain. Outbreaks of rain are likely across northern France, the Low Countries, southern Sweden into Germany, Poland, The Baltic States and Belarus. Snow showers to affect parts of Norway with heavier snow across Finland and Russia. Cold but sunny across Turkey. Further strong gales will affect northern parts of Europe.

Wednesday Fair over most of Spain and Portugal on Wednesday. Some cloud and showery bursts of rain affecting northeastern parts of Spain. Further cloud and rain in northern Italy, but fair and dry for most of the country. Sunny spells and dry in Greece and Turkey. Windy with some showers across southern France. Most central areas of France should be dry with sunny spells. Cloud and showers or outbreaks of rain in northern France. Further showery bursts of rain in the Low Countries, breezy and cloudy with some showery rain in northern Germany too. Poland will be breezy with coud and some rain in the far north of Poland, dry to the south with sunny spells here. Broken cloud and sunny spells for Austria, Hungary and Switzerland. Breezy with sleet in Denmark and cold here too. Some snow afecting the Baltic States, with a few snow showers in Finland too. Cld and mostly dry in Sweden. Snow showers affecting western and northern Norway.
