Becoming cold over most of Europe, wintry showers in the north, rain and sleet in central areas Tuesday A rather mild day to come across southern parts of Iberia, across Greece into western parts of Turkey. A cold, sunny day across England. Heavy rain is expected across northern and central parts of France with the south dry. Fine, dry and sunny for Portugal, Spain and the Balearics. Unsettled across the Low Countries, Denmark and northern Germany with heavy showers. Rain is expected across southern Germany and across the Czech Republic, Austria and across Hungary, The Adriatic Region and Romania. A dry day across northern Italy with rain in the south. A fine, dry day with sunny spells across Greece, Bulgaria and most of Turkey. Some rain for southern parts of Poland with the north mainly dry. Outbreaks of snow are forecast to continue across Finland and Russia with snow showers and sunny spells across the Baltic States. Cold but dry and sunny across Sweden and Norway. A strong mistral affects the south of France.

Wednesday Rain in Portugal and northwest Spain on Wednesday, some of this heavy at times. Fair with sunny spells in the east and south of Spain and well as the Balearics. Showers affecting the south of Italy, but drier in central and northern areas. Some showers for western Greece but dry in the east. Good spells of sunshine to come across Turkey. Cloud and rain in much of central and southern France, drier to the far north with some sunshine here. Wintry showers and cold for the Low Countries and northern germany. A few showers in northern Poland, but some snow to the south. Further cloud and some showery periods of wintry precipitation in Hungary and Austria. rather cloudy in Poland. A cold day in Denmark with wintry showers. Sunny spells and chilly as wel as dry in the Baltic States. Scattered wintry showers in Finland. Mostly dry and sunny as well as chilly across Sweden. Frequent snow showers and windy as well as cold across Norway.
