Morning Call: Chilly, mostly dry - Frosty tonight, Feb 25 - 04:44

A frosty start, some snow showers but mostly dry and sunny Good morning, It's another cold morning out there. A severe frost in places with temperatures well below freezing. There will be lots of windscreen scraping and coat wearing in the next few hours. However, with the earlier sunrise temperatures are likely to be picking up steadily.

It should then be mostly dry with good spells of sunshine through this morning and afternoon. The best of the sunshine across much of Scotland, northern and eastern England. A few snow showers with more cloud in Wales and southwest England as well as Northern Ireland. Further snow showers in northern and western Scotland, although these will be well scattered.

Cold and frosty again tonight, but perhaps with more cloud than recent nights. One or two snow showers over northern Scotland, and some rain reaching southern Ireland and southwest England later.
