Heavy rain west Wales; snow Scottish Highlands Good morning, A blustery day across the country today. Persistent rain will affect western hills of Wales & north-west England during today and tonight. Intermittent rain for central and eastern England, mostly small amounts, but may linger over several hours. Southern counties stay largely dry, but overcast. Extensive low cloud and fog over the hills in the south-west.
Western Scotland sees frequent snow showers, whilst eastern Scotland & north-east England stay mainly dry. Rain on and off for Northern Ireland. A strong contrast in temperatures, from 5 or 6C in Scotland, to 8 to 10C across northern England & Wales, and highs of 12 or 13C in southern Britain. Have a great day. Garry
