Rather unsettled too with rain at times, this heavy in places, especially on Saturday when it will be rather windy too. A brief colder snap could occur on Monday with snow showers in the northern UK.

There will be periods of rain, some of it heavy at times in the west and northwest. All places tending to be cloudy and damp. Feeling cold in Scotland with sleet and snow, mainly on the hills. Milder further south. Little change is expected throughout the day. Tops at 11C in southern England, 4C in central Scotland.
Sunday 21/2/16 Low pressure passes to the north of Scotland on Sunday. A cold front clears south taking outbreaks of rain with it. Following will be cooler conditions with a mix of sunshine and showers. The showers will be wintry and frequent in Scotland, Wales and western England. Highs ata a cooler 4 to 10C.
Monday 22/2/16 A chilly day on Monday. A weak ridge of high pressure builds to the west, with the northwest flow persisting. Some wintry showers affecting northern and western coasts and hills, these transferring east through the day. Dry and sunny away from these areas. Tops at 4 to 6C.
Tuesday 23/2/16 Another chilly day with a front straggling west to east across the country bringing clod and some outbreaks of rain. Brighter with wintry showers in Scotland, tending to be drier in southern England. Highs at 2 to 5C. Wednesday 24/2/16 A weak front probably passes eastwards on Wednesday. This bringing some rain or showers to more northern and western areas, but the east and south should be mostly dry with a few bright spells. Highs at 3 to 9C. Thursday 25/2/16 Some hints of a more unsettled day on Thursday with low pressure west of Scotland. This could bring cloudy conditions with periods of rain and strong winds too. Top temperatures at 4 to 10C.
