Dry across eastern Europe Today A chilly day to come across much of Europe. A day of sunshine and showers across Britain and France. An area of rain is expected from Denmark into western Germany. A few showers to affect Portugal and Spain. Heavy snow is forecast for Norway with outbreaks of rain into Sweden. High pressure will give Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria, the Adriatic Region, the Baltic States and northern Russia a fine day with sunny spells. Dry as well across Finland today. Outbreaks of snow are likely across southern Russia with rain and snow into the Ukraine. A number of heavy showers are expected across Greece and Bulgaria. A dry day across western parts of Turkey with showers in the east. Lots of fine, dry weather with sunny spells across the Balearics into Italy while heavy showers are forecast for the eastern Mediterranean. Strong south west winds will prevail through the channel.
Monday The chilly weather continues across Europe. A few showers today across England. A area of heavy rain is expected from Germany into the Low Countries into eastern France and northern Spain. Further snow fall is forecast for Norway but dry across Sweden and Finland. It continues fine and dry from Poland eastward across the Baltic States, Belarus and across much of the Adriatic Region and the Balkans. Outbreaks of snow to come across parts of Russia and the eastern Ukraine. Colder across Turkey with outbreaks of snow but drier in the west. A few showers are expected across Italy. Fair and dry weather is expected right across the Mediterranean.
