Wednesday Night Dry with broken cloud this evening. Staying that way for most of the night, a few clear spells towards the east and south. Thicker cloud and some rain reaching western Scotland and Ireland by morning. The winds increasing here, and rain could be heavy at times over the hills and coasts. Lows at 2 to 6C.
Thursday Low pressure to the north of the UK on Thursday, with higher pressure to the south. Fronts passing eastwards bringing rain across Scotland and Ireland in the morning. This reaching northern England and Wales as well as the far southwest of England by midday. Tending to stay dry in East Anglia and southeast England, but rain arriving across the Midlands and southern England during the afternoon, although by then as much lighter rain. Drier and brighter weather reaching western Scotland and Ireland. Highs at 9 to 13C.
Good Friday A risk of some heavy periods of rain overnight into Friday across southern and southeastern England. A ridge of high pressure builds through the UK during the day on Friday with rain clearing the southeast. It should be a dry day overall with sunny spells. Breezy over western Ireland and western Scotland. Tops at 9 to 14C.
