Friday 01/04/16 A slight frost for rural parts in the morning. A ridge of high pressure subsides slowly south-eastwards. Best sunshine toward the east & south, but cloud will thicken in the west as fronts move in off the Atlantic. Rain develops for Ireland, and increasingly Scotland, turning persistent. Later rain will encroach into western England & Wales. Southerly winds increasing, risk gales in far west. Highs 10 to 13C, cooler where rain develops.
Saturday 02/04/16 High pressure to the east and low pressure to the west or south-west. A front across Ireland and far west of Britain brings outbreaks of rain, possibly some heavy and prolonged bursts. Scotland may also see rain on and off. Much of England and Wales may remain dry. Some sunshine in the east, and feeling warmer with a slight breeze from the south. Temperatures ranging from 7 to 9C in rain, up to 14 or 15C in east & south-east.
Sunday 03/04/16 Some uncertainty, but low pressure likely centred across western regions, promoting a fairly warm southerly pattern, but also bringing areas of slow moving heavy showers. Possibility of thunderstorms moving up from Biscay and France, which may widely affect the south & south-west as the day progresses. Drier toward the east & north-east, with some sunshine. Highs 11 to 16C, warmest east & south.
Monday 04/04/16 Slack pressure is likely to reside across Britain & Ireland. The presence of unstable air across the country means further showery weather is likely. Risk of thunder. Occasional warm sunshine. Temperatures 11 to 15C. Tuesday 05/04/16 Low confidence of detail. Showery conditions are likely to continue, mixed with sunny spells. A westerly breeze may freshen. Becoming slightly cooler. Highs 10 to 14C. Wednesday 06/04/16 Confidence of detail remains low. A ridge of high pressure may build briefly in mid-week, but it is unlikely to fully settle down for long. Temperatures 10 to 14C.
