European Summary: Summery across Balkans Med - Chilly, damp N Europe, Apr 17 - 07:07

Warm and sunny across the Mediterranean Today A chilly day to come across northern Europe but warm across Italy into south east Europe. Fine and dry with sunny spells across England and northern France. Expect a mix of sunshine and showers across Portugal and Spain. An area of moderate to heavy rain to affect Sweden, Finland the Baltic States, northern Poland, Germany and southern France. Some rain to come across Croatia and the Czech Republic. Lots of warm, summery weather is expected across the rest of the Adriatic Region, The Balkans into Turkey. Warm as well across Italy with sunny skies. Cold across Norway with sunny spells and a few snow showers. Showers are forecast for the Low Countries.

Monday The chilly weather continues across northern parts of Europe but summery in the south. A warm, dry day across Spain and Portugal and this extends east across the Balearics into Italy, The Adriatic Region, The Balkans and into Turkey. Much of France will also be dry with rain in the east clearing. Expect rain for Sweden and Finland along with the Baltic States and Russia while showers are forecast across Denmark. Most of Germany and Poland should be dry. It continues cold across Norway with snow showers around western coasts. Fine and dry across Belgium and Holland.
