Saturday A band of cloud and rain extends from southern Ireland, through eastern Ireland and into western Wales and northern England this morning. This rain band edging northwards to be into Northern Ireland and southern Scotland by this afternoon. Drier weather over the rest of England and eastern Wales with some warm sunshine in the southeast. This extends north through other areas, although thundery showers may arrive in the southeast by evening. Dry for the rest of Scotland with some sunny spells in the morning, but clouding over through the afternoon as the rain pushes into the south. Tops at 12 to 15C.
Saturday Night A plume of thundery showers passing north across England on Saturday evening and into Saturday night. Despite lower confidence in the detail of this system it may be that the rain is heavy at times. Turning misty by the morning for many. A further area of rain in central and northern Scotland, this also affect central and western Ireland but slowly moving away to the west. Western Wales and Cornwall could see some more patchy rain by the morning too. Lows at 2 to 7C.
Sunday Rather slack areas of low pressure over western Scotland and Ireland on Sunday. A southerly flow affecting many areas bringing milder air northwards over England and Wales. There could be some showery rain in western and central Wales, this heading north. A further area of showers into southwest England, and then showers breaking out elsewhere into the afternoon. Cloudy and wet in Scotland with snow on the hills, but drier weather probably getting into southern areas in the afternoon. The best of any sunshine in the east and south and it is here where it may feel warm. Highs at 12 to 18C.
Monday An area of low pressure over southwest England on Monday. This brings cloud and rain over much of England, Wales and Ireland. Most of the rain in more western areas, but lighter to the east. Drier in Scotland where there will be some sunny spells, the best of these in more western and northern areas. Becoming drier in the south later in the day. Highs near 11 to 15C.
