Monday It becomes very windy today but the winds lessen in the south. Rain across Northern Ireland in the morning clears by the afternoon. An arcing band of moderate to heavy rain across southern Wales towards Devon, Somerset and Dorset drifts towards the West Midlands and through the south of England during the afternoon as well as into most of Wales. Dry elsewhere with some sunshine in the east then it becomes cloudy. Expect maximum temperatures of 9 to 15 Celsius.
Monday night It stays windy throughout the evening and the night across northern Britain. An area of rain tends to lie across Wales, The Midlands and north east England. Through the course of the night this area of rain pushes north into Northern Ireland, northern England and southern Scotland. Dry elsewhere with clear spells in the far south. Here it will be coldest. Expect minimums of 2 to 7 Celsius.
Tuesday It continues rather windy across the northern half of the country today. Rain to come across southern Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England this morning. This becomes lighter and more showery in the afternoon. For the rest of the country showers develop during the day but few are expected in the south east and Wales. Most of the showers fade away during the evening leaving a dry night. A touch of frost is possible in the south. Expect top temperatures of 10 to 16 Celsius.
Wednesday Lots of dry weather around this morning with sunny spells. A few showers to come near some western coasts. Expect a mixture of cloud, sunshine and showers for the afternoon. The showers will be locally heavy but staying mainly dry across East Anglia and the south east. Becoming much windier in the south west. Occasional showers may affect northern England tonight otherwise rather windy but dry. Expect top temperatures of 8 to 17 Celsius.
