Some scattered thundery showers in the southwest, broken cloud for most Good morning, A rather cloudy start to this morning over much of the UK and Ireland. There will be some showers in the far southwest of England, and these may affect the south of Wales and southern Ireland too. A few bright or sunny spells affecting parts of the Midlands and northern Wales as well as Northern Ireland and northwest Scotland.
Bright spells developing for many this afternoon, although always a fair amount of cloud. There will be some scattered heavy and thundery showers over southeast Ireland, Wales and southwest England and these continue into this evening.
Further scattered heavy showers in Wales overnight, perhaps a few reaching the Midlands. A fair amount of cloud elsewhere, bu some clearer skies in northwest England, western Scotland and Northern Ireland.
