Breezy in south-west Good morning, Today will see showers break out increasingly through the day, some slow-moving heavy bursts, and risk of thunder. The focus of showers by this afternoon is likely to be from central & southern Scotland, along the Pennines and much of Yorkshire, to central & eastern England.
Meanwhile, Wales & south-west England will see early showers fade, and brighter skies developing as a north-westerly wind freshens into the afternoon. By early evening, showers tending to drift further east across East Anglia, but clearing from the western Midlands. Top temperatures will reach 17 to 21C in sunny spells, warmest in the east.
