Cloudier skies to the north and west bringing an increasing threat of some spots of rain. Into this afternoon many parts of central and southeastern England with some bright or sunny spells. However, the risk of some showery rain in northern England, Scotland, southwest England and Ireland increases. wales is mostly dry, although there will be some low cloud around the coasts with a chance of drizzle. Highs at 15 to 22C.
Friday Night Showery bands of rain affecting Scotland tonight. Most of it light, leading to murky conditions on the hills. Patchy rain in Wales too, as well as across southwest England where it stays damp with low cloud shrouding the hills. Mostly dry elsewhere although rather cloudy. Drier weather passes into Ireland, although staying cloudy here. Lows near 8 to 14C.
Saturday A shallow area of low pressure passing eastwards through the UK and Ireland on Saturday. This brings a rather cloudy morning for many. There will be some showery outbreaks of rain passing eastwards. Drier weather arrives in more western parts, and it may become brighter too. A few showers are likely in Ireland and the west of Wales and western Scotland in the afternoon. Tops at 16 to 21C.
Sunday Weak fronts passing eastwards through Sunday. It will be dry in the east at first, but showery bursts of rain arriving with the fornt in the west. These will be passing eastwards during the day, with the most persistent rain in northwest England and western Scotland. heavy showers or longer spells of rain following into Ireland after the rain clears east. Highs near 15 to 21C.
