Temperatures will be cooler in the north but close to average while they should be generally above normal in the south. Saturday 01/10/16 Occasional showers to come across Scotland and western coasts. A fine dry day across the south with mostly sunny skies. Cooler in the north with near average temperatures in the south. Rain may affect the far south in the night. Highs of 12 to 18C.
Sunday 02/10/16 A number of showers may affect Britain, interspersed with a good deal of dry, sunnier weather. Persistent rain may reach the south and Wales by evening. Cooler.
