Sunday A cold, frosty start across the north and the west. Best of the sunshine today will be across western parts of Scotland and across north west England. An increasing north east wind will keep it rather cloudy across the rest of Britain and will make it feel very chilly. It will be mainly dry with just a few spots of drizzle over some of the hills of Wales and the south east. Expect maximums of 4 to 8 Celsius north to south.
Sunday night It continues rather breezy across Wales and the south of England into the evening and night. Probably a lot of cloud will linger across eastern areas and the far south. Across western Scotland, north west England and Wales there will be clear spells and with lighter winds here, we expect a frost to develop during the night. Expect minimum temperatures of -2 to 5 Celsius.
Monday As the winds come around to a drier south easterly direction we should see much more in the way of sunshine today as cloud moves away. It will be quite a breezy day in the south so feeling quite cold across the country today, but all parts should be dry. A windy night across northern Scotland. The rest of Britain will be dry, clear and cold with a widespread frost. Expect top temperatures of 3 to 7 Celsius.
Tuesday A windy day across Scotland with some light rain in the west. For England and Wales any early mist patches will clear, otherwise it's a fine. Settled day with unbroken amounts of sunshine. Dry as well across Northern Ireland but rather cloudy. The northern half of the country will be cloudy during the night with strong winds across Scotland. Again a cold night for England and Wales with a widespread frost and there is a risk of some locally dense patches of freezing fog by morning. Look for high temperatures of 3 to 6 Celsius.
