Sunday 27/11/16 High pressure remains centred across northern Britain, promoting a cool north-easterly flow across the country. Dry for all. Frosty for northern regions in the morning, perhaps also the north Midlands and Wales. Generally cloudy across eastern Britain. Some sunshine in the west. Local fog patches may linger in Scotland. A fresh breeze in the south, light winds elsewhere. Feeling chilly, highs 5 to 8C.

Monday 28/11/16 High pressure is expected to reposition itself toward the east of Britain. A greater risk of frost to start the day in central regions. Dry weather continues. Some patchy rain arriving in the far north-west. Plenty of sunshine for much of England & Wales, plus light winds. Cool, 3 to 7C.

Wednesday 30/11/16 A freshening westerly breeze is expected to bring rain to north-western Britain, heaviest over western mountains of Scotland. Staying dry in central & southern England & Wales. A cool start, local frost in the Midlands. Becoming milder across northern areas, temperatures 6 to 10C. Thursday 01/12/16 A frontal system is likely to sink slowly south across the country, bringing some persistent rain, although southern areas may escape largely dry. A brisk westerly breeze. Generally milder, but temperatures may fall in the north, 6 to 11C. Friday 02/12/16 A cold front passes south-eastwards. Rain followed by showers, most frequent in the north-west.
