Areal Flood Warning Issued For Parts Of Dekalb And Jackson Counties

The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has issued a

* Flood Warning for…
     Jackson County in northeastern Alabama…
     DeKalb County in northeastern Alabama…

* Until 830 AM CST Monday

* At 224 AM CST, reports from emergency managers and automated rain
     gauges indicated ongoing flooding over portions of the warned
     area, with 2 to 4 inches of rain observed. Although much of the
     heavier rainfall has ended, residual flooding will continue.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
     Scottsboro, Fort Payne, Rainsville, Bridgeport, Little River Canyon
     National Preserve, Henagar, Stevenson, Collinsville, Crossville and
     Sylvania.
