A chilly day, some sunny spells, but watch for a hard frost tonight Good morning, It's a cold one out there this morning so make sure you wrap up warm! Frost is widespread and severe. Roads and pavements are going to be slippery for the next few hours given the low temperatures. However, for most of us the morning will be dry with lots of sunshine.
Little changes through this afternoon with more sunshine to come. It is going to be staying cold and crisp across many areas. Increasing cloud in Ireland and western Scotland will be producing a few spots of drizzle and low cloud on western coasts and hills.
Tonight sees frost forming in southern and central parts of England, although nowhere near as hard as tonights. Cloud and rain For Scotland and Ireland with increased winds here.
