Windy west and chilly for most Good morning, Fog patches across East Anglia and southeast England this morning together with a widespread frost. The fog patches soon lifting to leave most of central and eastern England with some bright spells and a mostly dry day.
To the west and north it is going to be windier and cloudier. However, it should stay dry for most through the day, although always the risk of some patchy rain on windward facing hills and coasts. Feeling cold in that wind too.
More persistent rain affects the west of Ireland, and it will be here and western Scotland where winds reach severe gale force at times.
