Day 1 Fire Weather Outlook NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 1242 AM CST Mon Jan 16 2017 Valid 161200Z - 171200Z ...NO CRITICAL AREAS... ...Synopsis... A large-scale trough will linger across the Southwest today, as a weakening upper trough and associated surface low eject northeastward from the southern Plains into the Ohio Valley. Modest offshore flow will develop across portions of southern California as a surface high becomes established over the Great Basin, but unfavorable fuel conditions should keep the fire weather threat low. Elsewhere, generally cool temperatures and light winds will limit fire weather concerns. ..Dean.. 01/16/2017 ...Please see http://ift.tt/2i2um2s for graphic product...Read more
