...NO THUNDERSTORM AREAS FORECAST...

...SUMMARY...
Thunderstorms are not expected Wednesday through Wednesday night.

...Synopsis...
The southern extent of a cold front, that will have moved off the
rest of the Eastern Seaboard today, is forecast to advance
equatorward through central and south Florida Wednesday. Meanwhile,
a large surface anticyclone (located beneath confluent flow aloft)
is expected to expand east from the Great Plains to the Mid Atlantic
and Gulf Coast States. An arctic front leading this intrusion of
cold air should reach north Florida Wednesday evening. Stable
conditions across the contiguous U.S. are expected to preclude
thunderstorm development this forecast period.

...East-central to south Florida...
Initially, residual low-level moisture will be present south of the
leading cold front across central and south Florida. However, the
combination of 1) veering low-level winds resulting in a drying
trend in the boundary layer and a reduction of frontal convergence,
and 2) poor midlevel lapse rates due to warmer temperatures aloft as
compared to today should inhibit the development of deep moist
convection.
