Morning Call: Cold and dull again - Snow flurries east, Feb 10 - 04:44

Brightest toward the west Good morning, A strong area of high pressure is centred over Scandinavia, producing a cold easterly wind across the British Isles today, and will continue into this weekend. Snow flurries will affect eastern regions, which may persist over many hours without generally amounting to a great deal. At the lowest levels around the coast, it should be mostly rain or sleet.

Extensive cloud will reinforce the cold feel for most places, with temperatures struggling at just 2 to 4C for most. The far south-west may be a little higher at 6 or 7C, but will feel colder in the wind. Some cloud breaks in the west. The weekend stays cold with bitter easterly winds. Some snow is likely at times, particularly on Saturday, although at sea level it may be just rain or sleet. Have a great day. Garry
