Strong thunderstorms were located near Tamola and Lauderdale, and moving east at 45 MPH. NWS Birmingham has issued a Significant Weather Advisory for southern Greene and central Sumter counties until 5:00PM. Dime size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.
