Europe forecast: Fair in the west - Cool east with showers, Apr 06 - 05:43

Fair with plenty of dry weather and sunshine in the west but cold and showery to the east Wednesday Fine with good spells of sunshine over most of Portugal and Spain. A few showers could affect eastern coasts. Dry with lots of sunshine in the Balearics. Heavy showers and thunderstorms affects Italy. Northern Greece having some showers but dry to the south. Thunderstorms for western Greece but fair in the east. Fine with good spells of sunshine to come in much of France. The Low Countries could have cloud and this affects northern Germany too. Southern Germany, Switzerland and Austria will have sunny spells. Showers in eastern parts of Poland. Windy and mostly dry in Denmark. Patchy rain in the Baltic States and Finland with showers in Sweden. Norway sees rain in the west, some of it heavy at times.

Thursday Fair and dry in Spain and Portugal on Thursday. It should be remaining fair for Corsica, Sardinia and Italy too. Showers affect Greece, some heavy with thunderstorms and rain in northern Turkey, but the south should be dry. France will be dry with more spells of sunshine throughout. Fair too in the Low Countries and most of Germany, although some showers in the east. Austria and Hungary as well as eastern Switzerland will have showers, but the west should be dry. Poland will be cold with sunshine and showers throughout the day. Chilly with a mix of sunshine and showers. Further showers in the Baltic States and across Finland too. Sweden is going to be dry with sunny spells. Cloud and rain as well as stronger winds affecting Norway
