URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 177 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 650 PM CDT Sat Apr 29 2017 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of Parts of central and interior southeast Texas * Effective this Saturday evening from 650 PM until 1100 PM CDT. * Primary threats include... Isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible SUMMARY...Storms will continue to develop along a cold front that will move southeastward through the evening. The strongest storms will be capable of producing large hail and damaging winds. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 45 statute miles east and west of a line from 75 miles north northeast of College Station TX to 30 miles southeast of New Braunfels TX.
