URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 207 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 810 PM EDT Wed May 10 2017 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of East central Illinois Central Indiana * Effective this Wednesday night and Thursday morning from 810 PM until 100 AM EDT. * Primary threats include... Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible Isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible SUMMARY...A line of strong/severe thunderstorms over central Illinois will track eastward across the watch area this evening. Damaging winds and hail will be possible along the leading edge of the storms. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 45 statute miles north and south of a line from 10 miles northwest of Decatur IL to 30 miles south southeast of Muncie IN.
