Areas affected...Northeast US

Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 385...

Valid 302306Z - 010000Z

The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 385
continues.

SUMMARY...Severe threat appears to be waning across much of the
Northeast. Strongest storms should congregate over southern New
England over the next hour or so.

DISCUSSION...Weak MCV has evolved within larger cluster of
convection over New England...roughly along the VT/MA border. This
feature is moving east around 30kt and should track offshore in the
next two hours. While strong convection was noted immediately ahead
of this feature earlier this evening, strongest storms currently
trail across CT through northern NJ into eastern PA where surface
temperatures are holding in the 80s. Gusty winds and perhaps small
hail are the primary threats, especially near the southern edge of
WW385.
