Morning Call: Sunshine south & east - Cloudy, damp west, Feb 16 - 04:44

Sunshine south & east, cloud and rain in west Good morning, High pressure is bringing a mostly fair start to the day across much of England and Wales this morning. There will be some mist and fog patches around, but these should be clearing to leave some bright or sunny spells through the day. Cloud will be tending to increase as the day wears on.

There will be some sunshine in eastern Scotland too, but to the west more cloud will be giving some outbreaks of rain. This rain tending into the west of Ireland before edging slowly eastwards during the day.

It's then a damp night for northern and western areas, although staying dry to the south and east.
