Morning Call: A fair day for most - Rain arriving from west, Mar 26 - 05:44

Plenty of sun, clouding over from west Good morning, A ridge of high pressure extends across Britain today, bringing a dry and bright day for many places. A good amount of sunshine overall, and winds light. However, a warm front moves in from the west across Ireland, bringing outbreaks of rain and strengthening southwesterly winds. Rain reaches west Wales and south-west England in the afternoon, and extending into western Scotland too by evening.

Rain becomes more widespread overnight into Tuesday, heaviest in the west, but spreading across all of Britain before dawn. Today's top temperatures will reach 9 to 13C, warmest in central-southern England, feeling pleasantly spring-like in the sun. Have a great day. Garry
