Sunshine and showers, a breezy and fresher day Good morning, A bright and breezy day ahead for almost all parts of the country. It will be a fresher morning with sunny spells and a scattering of showers. The showers more frequent in western Scotland and western Ireland where a few may be heavy and thundery.
This afternoon it stays bright and breezy. Further showers, mostly isolated in the east but more frequent to the west. The showers could be heavy on western coasts and hills and a few cracks of thunder are possible too.
